Brandon Harrison Memorial Garden

The Brandon Harrison Memorial Garden is a healing centered garden where we grow indigenous healing plants and hold community workshops and healing ceremonies. We also plant Healing Roots trees: which are trees that we plan to honor those who have lost their lives due to violence by planting life where life was taken. In addition to planting trees we offer healing services to families through our Stockton Trauma Recovery Center. We have transformed our garden to be a healing community space; it provides a way for families to have a physical connection with their lost loved ones. This sacred space also reinforces a sense of togetherness so families don’t feel so alone knowing that there are other families around them who have gone through similar experiences, while also helping them go through grief.
